I was pleasantly surprised how the whole process was handled by the center and of course by the outcome.

Thank you all for your excellent work in helping me to get compensation as a holocaust survivor. I am 92 years old and had no more hope to be in some way compensated for the sufferings me and my family passed through during the German occupation of Romania some 80 years ago. My mother-in-law passed away in March 2020. On behalf of my wife and her siblings, we submitted a claim. Sibyl was a pleasure to deal with. very helpful and communicative. I had never anticipated that we would still be able to claim as my father had passed away over 10 years ago. A relative suggested that I contact the firm and Sibyl had found funds available to me, that I never realised existed. These funds have now enabled me to erect Stolpersteine in memory of my family that died in the holocaust and contribute to a new Holocaust centre being built. I am so grateful to the work that they have done.

We were very happily surprised with the outcome of our claim. I never thought that we could get something from the German gov’t after all the Nazis had taken away from our family. I didn’t have much hope when I sent in this claim. Esther encouraged me to try it.
