My parents worked as slaves in Lodz ghetto. Thanks to a great job the International Center for Holocaust Reparations did to me and my sister we received firstly a reparation for our mother, at the end of last year, and just recently (August) we received it for our father. Worth mentioning is the fact the gathered material was much weaker as regards our father’s case. Nevertheless ICHR made it happen. Quite a lot of money. Congratulations!

When I first heard about it I did not believe it. Luckily, I had a complete history of my late mom documented which I put together many years ago when she was still well. After submitting this application they told me that my claim would likely not succeed. We were persistent and they put all the effort necessary to succeed.
When I received the email notification that the money would be paid to me I was still is disbelief and the amount was way way beyond any expectations.
I am very thankful to this organization.

I am the daughter of a holocaust survivor and always felt that my 90 year mom wasn’t getting enough money in reparations from Germany as she is now legally blind and hard of hearing. I take care of her and it has been very difficult for me so when I saw the Facebook post about the International Center for Holocaust Reparations, I immediately contacted them. Rachel G. was my contact and she was able to get my mom thousands of dollars in retroactive reparations and an additional $250 per month.
