Found the persons dealt with very professional. Especially Frances, who was very helpful and followed up when some forms weren’t filled properly and quickly talked us through correcting any issues.

There are no words to express for the assistance I received in applying & receiving reparations from Germany. I am a second-generation survivor and want to urge each & every one of you who is entitled to these reparations, do not hesitate. I was first contacted by The International Center for Holocaust Reparations last year. They thought that as a baby in Hungary during the Holocaust, I may be eligible for a pension from the German government.
After I qualified, we began the claims process, and I received the news in mid-October this year (2024) that both claims they lodged on my behalf were successful, and that a substantial amount representing a one time child survivor payment and pension backpaid to the date of my first application was already in my account!
This pension will continue to be paid quarterly for the rest of my life.
Dalit, the claims clerk who guided me through the process, and also Shaina, when Dalit was away, have been most kind and helpful throughout. I am very grateful for the competent and caring assistance I received.
The outcome exceeded my expectations, the one time payment and the pension are most welcome.

My mother, 15-year-old girl, was taken to a concentration camp in December 1941, where she was raped many times and worked as a slave until April 1944. Right away, she had given birth to a dead child. In 1947, I was born to a sick woman, and all the years that she was alive, I had to take care of her.

The International Center did a very good job of getting even more reparations than I expected. I know there must be many Jews who have

Even though I was very hesitant at first to apply for pension benefits after my parents passed, the team at the International Center for Holocaust Reparations said we wouldn’t know if we didn’t at least apply. We were not expecting anything, but after nearly five years, we did get a surprise payment. The saying “you can’t win if you don’t play” certainly applied to us. Thank you for your help and for not giving up on our behalf.

The Center for Holocaust Reparations has been very helpful in handling the claim for our parents’ ghetto pensions and ensuring we received our substantial entitlements. They guided and encouraged us to fill in the necessary documents, which we may have otherwise delayed or even ignored.
