As my father is an elderly Holocaust survivor, we wanted to insure that he received all the reparations that he so deserved. When I first submitted documents 3 years ago, I was finding it very frustrating with the time delays and requests for documents and testimonies that were difficult to obtain. At one point, I became skeptical and was skeptical that I would receive the funds that I felt that I was entitled to. One day last month, I checked my bank statement for another reason and saw an unusually large balance and couldn’t understand why. I thought that there may have been an error. When I saw the remittance from the German Government, I was elated to see that all of the hard work finally paid off. The Center For Holocaust Reparations was very thorough in processing this difficult request. If you qualify according to the guidelines and provide documents required, you will get compensated. It is an arduous frustrating process but if you are patient and work with the great people at the center, you will get compensated. I am happy that I went through the process and am happy to endorse it based upon the final results.

The International Center for Holocaust Reparations was great to work with in regard to helping my mom, Sally Cymerint obtain a claim from the German government. My father Harry Cymerint was a survivor who was also in the Ostrowiec ghetto. They were responsive, friendly, and very easy to work with. On behalf of my family, many thanks for a job well done. It was a long journey, but well worth it.

Grateful to the staff at the Center for Reparations for helping me package and present my grandmother’s life story to the German Claims department. It was unexpected to get her a significant sum and pension, and we are very proud to have done this for her. Never forget!

As promised, my mom’s application was submitted and she received some compensation. The only complaint I have was that the company asked for the full amount of the first six month payment she received instead of a percentage or waiting until she received the second installment. In other words, we had to pay half of what was received immediately.

Thank you for you help. My Father should have done this years ago. Without your direction this would not have happened.
I hope others will get on board and work with your group to get there parents what they should have collected years ago.

I would like to thank everyone involved with the Holocaust Reparation. Everyone has acted in a very thorough and helpful manner every step of the way. You have made this experience very rewarding and satisfying and have shown a lot of compassion. We greatly appreciate your intervening on our behalf and feel so lucky to have people still remembering what so many went through.

I submitted a form to the Holocaust Center for Reparations on behalf of my 98 year old mother, Nika Kohn Fleissig, who had suffered great losses in the Holocaust and had never gotten any reparations, since dealing with the interviews and dredging up the memories gave her nightmares and days of upset back in the 1960’s when my father first attempted to file for reparations for my mother. Now, I was able to provide the documentation required without my mother’s active help, and was glad to have the acknowledgment that she indeed deserved some tiny compensation for all her suffering. I wrote a book about some of what she endured, entitled: From Miracle to Miracle: A Story of Survival.” which was published in English and then in Polish. The monthly stipend award was back-dated to when I first filed
so there was an initially larger payment
followed now by monthly payments which
though not large
still help with expenses. We wish to thank Zachi Porat and the whole organization which handled the legal procedures. I wish we knew more about the lawyers and staff who handled the file. They must be interesting and dedicated people. Todah rabbah. “

the people I WORKED WITH WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO ALL MY NEED & PROBLEMS WHICH AROSE. i highly recommend their services; let you know at times it requires your patience to work-through any obstacles which might arise-(but in the end it is well worth it!!)
