My mother was receiving benefits from Germany when she died 12 years ago. I read an ad placed by the Center and they helped me obtain a significant lump sum for her heirs. I don’t speak or read German and their help was crucial to obtain the payments for my mother’s heirs. No amount of money can provide justice for all her losses, but this was better than nothing.

I can’t praise the overall work of the Center highly enough. In particular, I have to mention Shaina B. for her compassion, efficiency and ongoing help. Even though I have learned about Z.P.organization by sheer coincidence, it paid off to lodge my application. As a child survivor of the concentration camp Theresienstadt I never even thought that I could be entitled for a compensation. My sincere thanks to the Center for the very positive outcome.

I had contact with various people in this organization. All were highly competent, courteous and effective.

These people were wonderful and helpful every step of the way. Things can get complicated, but you can count on everyone there to take the time to explain things and help you as much as they can. I was shocked to see the amount received from their work. It will never be enough for what happened to our people, but these monies came at a crucial time in our life; God Bless. If you are unsure, take a few minutes and contact them. It will be worthwhile.

I had a very positive experience with International Center for Holocaust Reparations. I must admit that at first, I was a bit concerned about providing confidential information to an organization that I knew little about, and so I thoroughly vetted the organization, including checking my claim directly with the appropriate reparation German governmental agency that handles Holocaust reparation claims. Everything was totally legitimate and above board, and so I was able to proceed with utmost confidence. Responded to an ad in the Times of Israel on behalf of my 96-year-old father, who is a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto. We were “taken by the hand” through the journey of getting reparations, all during COVID. He got the recognition we were hoping for in less than two years and now has a pension from the German Government. The team at the Center for Reparations was professional, thoughtful, considerate, and efficient. Thank you!

This is not for the faint-hearted. Documents, passports, bank statements, birth certificates, signed statements, witnesses, notaries, the entire bureaucratic playbook. However, in the end, after much time, much effort, and much work on both our part and the part of our mother and the Reparations team, we were approved a claim. Start to finish, several years, and much MUCH footwork. Professionally handled but be prepared for a great deal of paperwork and potentially- time spending. Our case was slightly more complicated, and the claim was awarded, but it literally took years.

All went smoothly (except posting paper documents – it was awfully slow in time of pandemic). I thank you for your valuable help!
